Boho Heal is an online counselling practice run by Mithra, a licensed counselling psychologist based in Bengaluru, India. Mithra is responsible for the personal information handled through this website and the assessment, and is your point of contact for any privacy question or request. Boho Heal may collect personal information including:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Session booking details
• Information voluntarily shared during therapy sessions or contact forms

All personal information and therapy discussions are treated with strict confidentiality. Your information will never be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties except:

• when required by law
• in situations involving risk of harm to self or others
• with your explicit consent

Online sessions are conducted through platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or WhatsApp Call. While reasonable precautions are taken to maintain privacy, clients are encouraged to attend sessions from a private and secure environment.

Your information may be used for:

• scheduling and managing appointments
• communication regarding sessions
• therapy and emotional wellness support
• improving website and client experience

Payments are securely processed through third-party payment providers such as Razorpay. Boho Heal does not store sensitive banking or card details.

The website may collect limited non-personal information such as browser type, device information, or website analytics to improve user experience.

Reasonable measures are taken to protect your personal information and maintain confidentiality of records and communications.

If you use our online relationship assessment, some additional handling applies, and this section explains it in plain terms.

What we collect

When you take the assessment we collect your name, your email address, the pronoun you select, your partner's name as you enter it, and your answers to the assessment questions. We also record when you start and finish, and whether you click through to book a consultation. Your partner enters their own name correction, email, and pronoun themselves when they open their link. We never ask you for your partner's email address, and we never email your partner on your behalf.

How your partner's results and yours are shared

The assessment is designed to be taken by both partners, and both of you agree at the start that you will each see the other's results. When you both finish, each of you can see both sets of scores side by side, along with the areas where you differ. If either of you does not agree to this at the start, neither of you sees the other's individual scores. You are told this clearly before you begin, and starting the assessment is your consent to it.

Who can see your answers

Your individual answers are reviewed by Mithra, a licensed counselling psychologist, to prepare for and support your consultation. They are not shared with anyone else, they are not sold, and they are not used for advertising. Your emails are stored in encrypted form, and access to the practitioner view is protected by a password and logged.

How long we keep it

We keep your assessment responses indefinitely, so that Mithra can refer back to them across your work together, unless you ask us to delete them. You can ask us to delete your responses at any time by emailing mithra@bohoheal.com, and we will remove them from our records. If your responses are used as part of a clinical consultation, relevant details may also be held within your clinical records, which are governed by professional record-keeping obligations rather than this policy.

How it is secured

The assessment runs over an encrypted connection. Your email address is stored using strong encryption, the links we send you are private to you and are not guessable, and repeated invalid attempts to access a link are rate limited. Please do not forward your own private link to anyone.

Emails we send

The assessment sends you transactional emails: a link to resume where you left off, a note when your partner has finished, and a link to your results once you have both finished. These are sent through a third-party email provider that delivers the message on our behalf and does not use your address for its own purposes. Because these emails are part of the service you asked for and not marketing, they do not carry an unsubscribe link, but we will only email you about your assessment.

• update personal details
• withdraw consent for communication
• request deletion of your personal data, including your assessment responses, by emailing mithra@bohoheal.com
